Organic, breathtaking and seemingly weightless, this graceful suspension by LASVIT captures the magic of nature in meticulously crafted glass.
The Dancing Leaves design concept was first introduced in 2014 as part of a project for the Peninsula Hotel in Paris. Designer Ludek Hroch imagined a sculpture evoking leaves as they float in the air before eventually blowing away. The result: A spectacular installation consisting of 800 unique, hand-blown leaves in the elegant lobby of this venerable Beaux-Arts hotel. LASVIT has made smaller-scale, ready-to-order versions of some of their stunning design projects available to consumers in their ICONS series - a great option between bespoke and mass-produced lighting.
Dancing Leaves is available in nine different constellations: Two versions feature the leaves arranged in a circle, three in an oval, and four in a cone-shaped installation. The leaves are available in a variety of different finishes, including clear, dark amber, light amber and soda, which reveals small bubbles inside the glass.
Dozens of glass components are intricately rendered before being sculpted and refined by a master glassmaker. The leaves move effortlessly in the air, ethereal and elemental. Dancing Leaves and the other LASVIT ICONS do not include lit elements. Our sales team can help design an architectural lighting solution to help illuminate these sculptural glass editions.
