I've had my eyes on the Smart & Green SG-VESSEL 2 , ITEM #: SMG570521, for some time. Although I think this fixture is attractive and just the right size for my needs, I've refrained from purchasing it for the following reasons: (1) It is warranted for only one year, which is quite meager for such an expensive fixture of this kind; (2) Even at the sale price of $201.60, it is far too pricey; The sale price is lower ($176) at a competitor, but even at this lower sale price, this outdoor fixture is over-priced; (3) At only 120 lumens output, it's too dim. This lamp should come at a higher wattage with more lumens output and be dimmable according to the ambience and setting desired; (4) A manufactures warrantee of only 1-year, therefore leads me to question the fixture's durability and its reliability; (5) The battery recharge time of 6-hours is entirely too long per 10-hours use. That would be a nuisance; (6) Descriptions of this lamp claim either that it is water resistant or that it is waterproof. Which is it? There is a difference in the meaning of these two terms. And, depending on which term actually applies, water resistant or waterproof, could a measure of quality, dictating it's suitability for prolonged use outdoors. Once again, this product is over-priced. I don't care who manufacture's it or where it's made - France, China or wherever. It's over-priced. I shall continue to search for outdoor portable lamps having better features at a lower price.

Great light but crappy app to turn on and turn off - unpredictable. Lost sync after 2 weeks and have not been able to get it to work since. Great looking light. Does not work.
